Russell Who are we?   We are a small, Southern Baptist congregation situated on Virginia Road (NC 32-37) on the Gates-Chowan county line.  We're also close to the Perquimans line as well.   We're 5 miles south of Sunbury, 20 miles north of Edenton, and 10 miles east of Gatesville.  We may be a small church, but we have God-sized vision to proclaim Christ, to make disciples, and to make a difference.  We describe ourselves as a family of God building loving relationships so we can believe, live, and share.  We have been in existence since 1861 and were known until about 40 years ago as the Warwick Swamp Baptist Church.
